Last week, we were excited, for the first time since 2020, to invite parents on campus for our Back to School nights at both our Primary and Secondary campus.
The event was a fantastic opportunity for parents to learn more about the educational journey of their children which lies ahead, a chance to explore our campuses, hear from our leadership team as well as meet our teachers.
Speaking at the event, our Head of School, Kim Green shared that it was "wonderful to see everyone this evening. i have the privilege of working with you, your children and our amazing faculty. At ISHCMC, we want everyone in our community to flourish and we know to achieve this we focus on both wellbeing and learning."
Kim went on to say, "I welcome you all to our year of empathy, we want to reconnect and re-find joy the ISHCMC way!"
Speaking at our Secondary Back to School Night, Caleb Archer, shared that, "it's a huge pleasure to be here as your Secondary Principal. I hope tonight gives you a chance to learn about the curriculum and to meet other parents."
While, Kate Grant, our Primary Principal speaking at our Primary School event said, "This year, we will prioritize relationships and build a strong partnership between home and school partnership. We encourage you to reach out, seek understanding from us and our teachers."
This week, on Thursday, a second Back to School Night will be held in the MPR for our lower primary students. We hope to see all our lower primary students then!
if you did miss the Secondary Back to School Night, do note that there is a dedicated website which includes all the information that you would need such as course information, a section where you can view videos and virtually meet all our teachers at secondary, and also hear more about our university counseling hub.
