Yesterday, we received official letters outlining the need to increase our level of protocols in response to a new wave of COVID-19 here in HCMC. This information is in response to an increase in reported cases of COVID-19 in HCMC.
From this this point forward, [effective from Thursday 20 April], ISHCMC is required to:
Monitor symptoms and cases within the school and report to DOET/Ministry of Health
Report all suspected cases to DOET / Ministry of Health
Strictly apply 2K [Masks & Disinfection] 1. Masks must be worn in confined spaces (e.g. lifts, small offices, meeting rooms) 2. Masks must be worn if you have any symptoms 3. Mask-wearing is encouraged for all
Therefore, moving forward we ask that:
Masks are encouraged to be worn by students, teachers and operation staff at all times in classes and corridors
Masks must be worn by students, teachers, and operation staff at all times in classes and corridors if they have symptoms
Masks must be worn by students, teachers, and operation staff at all times in confined spaces and elevators
Exceptions to Wearing a Mask are as follows:
For preschool children
For those performing or practicing performing arts
For those competing or practicing in sports
Wen eating and drinking
Our cleaning team will continue with their regular disinfection, and we encourage you and your children to use hand sanitiser / wash your hands on a regular basis. We will keep you updated as we learn more. If you have any questions at this stage, please reach out to our Community Team, community@ishcmc.com or our Health Center nurse@ishcmc.edu.vn.
