MIDDLE SCHOOL PRINCIPAL
Anthony Mulson
Originally from Michigan in the United States, Anthony brings more than a decade of leadership experience across IB, International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), Advanced Level (A-Levels), and U.S. curricula.
He has spent the past twelve years in Shanghai, China, serving as Director of Teaching and Learning at YK Pao Middle School and most recently as Assistant Head at Dulwich International High School Suzhou, where he also earned his National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) qualification.
He is particularly passionate about the middle years and about building cultures of achievement grounded in character, community, and confidence.
HIGHSCHOOL PRINCIPAL
Kohulan Jeganathan
A University of Toronto graduate, Kohulan brings extensive international experience and a strong commitment to the International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy.
He has served as International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) Coordinator, Deputy Head of Secondary, and Deputy Head Academic, with leadership experience in Bogotá, Colombia and most recently ten years in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
He is passionate about inclusive, student-centered learning and supporting students to grow as compassionate, global-minded young people. Kohulan will be joining ISHCMC with his wife, an educator specializing in Korean and English as an Additional Language (EAL) and their two young children.

Joseph Aldus
Joseph is a dedicated international educator committed to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment where students feel valued and empowered. He inspires wellbeing and learning, aiming to create a thriving community of engaged learners. Joseph believes in the boundless potential of each child and the power of community to nurture growth. He fosters a love of learning, guiding students to thrive in our changing world. Joseph’s philosophy prioritizes holistic growth and belonging.
As a leader, he builds strong relationships and measures success by the growth of others. Joseph creates innovative, student-driven learning environments and believes education shapes a better world by nurturing compassionate, critical thinkers.

Catriona Treanor
Catriona is a passionate and dynamic educator and leader with a strong commitment to fostering collaborative learning environments that support student success in their chosen pathway. With a deep belief in the importance of holistic, student-centred education, she prioritises the social and emotional well-being of every learner. Catriona is dedicated to equipping students with the skills, knowledge, and values needed to thrive as compassionate, responsible global citizens in our rapidly evolving world.

Catriona began her career studying and teaching in the United Kingdom. With over 13 years of teaching and leadership experience, she has led academic and pastoral teams in China and, most recently, Singapore. Catriona is joining ISHCMC as Secondary Vice Principal in August 2025.
MIDDLE SCHOOL DEAN OF STUDENTS
Larry Huynh
Larry Huynh works with Middle School students and teaches DP Economics at ISHCMC. Raised in Brisbane by Vietnamese parents, he chose to return to Vietnam after beginning his career at Brisbane Boys’ College in Australia.

For Larry, education was the greatest gift his parents gave him. It shaped his passion for teaching and economics, as well as his belief that learning about different cultures helps people understand one another more deeply.

Relationships sit at the heart of Larry’s work. He values seeing students develop a sense of belonging, build confidence and recognize their own progress. He also appreciates working alongside educators who know their students well and care deeply about helping them thrive.

Dexter Sinclair
Dexter is a Language Acquisition teacher specializing in Spanish. He comes to ISHCMC after having taught previously in IB schools in the UAE and China and teaching experience in the UK, Spain, and Argentina. He believes in the importance of an internationally-focused holistic education to help students succeed inside and outside of the classroom.

Simon Scoones
Simon remains passionate about teaching and learning, both in a classroom setting and beyond. He has a strong belief in the value of student-centred approaches to learning and the international school context to prepare our students as the global citizens of the future.
Thanks to his previous role as a PGCE tutor at the Institute of Education/University College London, Simon also enjoys the challenge of supporting colleagues in developing innovative, diverse and engaging learning activities.

Laney Rweyemamu
Student-centered teaching and learning is at the core of Laney’s educational philosophy. Laney works to ensure that the voice of each student is heard so that all stakeholders can work collectively to harness each students’ academic and personal potential, and create a path for their future endeavors. This is done through active listening and participation in collective decision-making, by fostering healthy relationships built on open communication, feedback and goal setting, and by allowing students to take ownership over their own learning.

Victoria Aldus
Victoria Aldus is excited to join the ISHCMC community as the Secondary school DSL and PHE teacher. She is originally from bonnie Scotland, and has held teaching and leadership roles for the last 14 years in the UK, UAE and Vietnam! As a recent Vice Principal and Athletics Director, Victoria is passionate about contributing to a vibrant school environment enhancing culture to create a truly inclusive community.
Victoria prioritizes empathy, empowerment, and active engagement for all members of the community and is committed to being a life-long learner. Victoria is thrilled to be joining the ISHCMC community with her Husband Joe, who will be working in the primary school and their 4 month old son, Theo.
EDUCATION TECHNOLOGY COACH
Andrew Gill
Andrew Gill teaches Theory of Knowledge and Design, drawing on a career spanning arts, technology, and education.
An Australian educator who graduated in 1993, Andrew has worked in suburban and alternative education settings, First Nations communities, remote Western Australia, China, and Vietnam. He has worked internationally since 2006, the same year he first moved to Ho Chi Minh City.
His approach begins with a simple idea: people learn more readily when they feel valued. From there comes greater willingness to take risks, reflect, and grow. Andrew has also worked with elders and students at the KALACC Festival and helped build the culture of a new international school.

GRADE 7 LEADER
Alex Wolfe
Alex Wolfe is the Grade 7 Grade Level Leader at ISHCMC. He teaches Grade 6 and Grade 7 IELP, as well as Grade 9 Physical and Health Education.

Originally from England, Alex grew up playing rugby and later coached the sport in different parts of the world. He now brings the same energy and determination to trail running, regularly taking on races across Vietnam.

Alex believes students grow when they feel supported to step beyond what is comfortable and discover what they can achieve. He values the care, skill and sense of fun that ISHCMC teachers bring to their work each day.
GRADE 9 LEADER
Eva Wylie
Eva Wylie teaches English Language Acquisition in Grades 9–12 and serves as Grade 9 Level Leader. Australian and French, Eva grew up in international schools across China, France, and Australia.
Her own path toward teaching began while completing CAS and teaching English to primary students in China. That experience has stayed with her. Eva knows that communicating in another language can feel daunting, so she works to create a classroom where students feel respected, included, and confident enough to participate and take risks.
What keeps her excited about ISHCMC is the unpredictability of each day and the students who continue to surprise her. Outside school, she enjoys snowboarding, cooking, and reading.
GRADE 10 LEADER
Mary Ascione
Mary Ascione teaches Mathematics in Grades 7 and 10 and serves as Grade 10 Level Leader.
Originally from Australia, Mary has spent more than 30 years teaching across a remarkable range of schools and age groups, with experience in Australia, the UK, Malaysia, Qatar, and Vietnam. With academic backgrounds in both Mathematics and Drama, she has always been drawn to the human side of teaching: seeing students succeed, find confidence, and know they belong.
One of her proudest professional experiences was becoming the inaugural Head of Middle School at an Australian college and helping shape a new approach to middle years education. Away from school, Mary is an intrepid traveler who has visited 58 countries.
