Destination Imagination is Back!

Destination Imagination is offering an online competition this year for schools around the world that aren’t able to meet face to face. We are thrilled to offer this opportunity for our students in grades 2-5.

All teams will find a solution for the same challenge, “Lights! Camera! Action!” The challenge is to create a video presentation based on a genre trope from a chosen film genre. The trope will have a twist. A trope is a common theme, plot element or visual cue used to convey an idea. For example, villains in movies are often dressed in all black. This is a common visual cue used to identify the villain in the story.

Teams of 2-7 students will meet with their team sponsor on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:10-4 from Sept. 29 -mid November.

Please don’t sign up for other ASAs that are on Wednesdays and Thursdays as you will need to be present at every meeting for DI.

If you have any questions, please contact: Jody Ubert at

If you would like to sign up your child, please email Ms. Jody and include your child’s full name and grade. Please note the deadline to sign up is September 15th.
