Dear Parents,
As we approach the final weeks of the academic year, both ISHCMC campuses remain vibrant with Rhino spirit.
Our Grade 3 to 5 students have now completed their MAP testing, well done to all for their focus and effort. In Secondary, Grade 11 students continued their final examinations, while Grade 9 and 10 prepare to begin theirs next week.
Amidst exam preparations, our students continue to engage fully in the life of the school. At Secondary, we enjoyed beautiful IPAA Musical Recitals and an outstanding show by Grade 10 for their Collaborative Performances.

In sport, our Stingrays placed second among 20 schools at the ISHCMC Swim Invitational, and our athletes represented us proudly in SISAC competitions with U13 U13 Girls A Volleyball and U15 Boys A Volleyball placed first. In addition to this, other teams also brought home impressive prize. Congratulations to everyone involved.

Our Grade 5 students also participated in a meaningful transition experience, offering them a first glimpse into Secondary School life. It was a wonderful example of collaboration between Primary and Secondary staff.

This week, I took the opportunity to join our Grade 12 students for a day on their final camp, in another memorable landmark for them as they transition into being alumni of ISHCMC. The student body’s wonderful diversity was evident, as were the relationships and care shown by our staff team. Collectively, the sense of belonging was tangible.
Looking ahead, I warmly invite all parents to join the upcoming Parent Forum on Monday. It will be an opportunity to connect, discuss the school’s direction, and answer any questions you may have. Full details are available in this article.

We also look forward to two significant events next week: the Primary Production of Finding Nemo (tickets are still available) and the Graduation Ceremony for our Grade 12 students - both important milestones in our community.
Wishing you and your family a restful weekend.
Kindest regards,
Marco Longmore
Head of School
