How Do You Keep Math Interactive During Lockdown?

We checked in with our Grade 6 students to find out how they were keeping Math fun, engaging, and challenging during lockdown.

The Challenge? Flip two cards in a standard deck, red cards represent negative, black cards represent positive, and then add or multiply the two numbers together. The first player to answer correctly gets a point. A challenge not for the faint hearted!

Helped by their teacher, Mr. Kevin Mount, our Grade 6s not only took on a tough Math challenge but also led the games themselves. Check out this great video showing how they got on. Well done Mr. Mount and the Grade 6 Math Rhinos, it was a great insight!
