Dear ISHCMC Families,
Following our return from the national holiday, it has been heartening to see our students quickly settle back into their routines, approaching each day with enthusiasm and energy for the journey ahead.
At ISHCMC, we have long held to the belief that true learning is built on partnership and that collaboration between school and home is central to every child’s success. Parents play a vital role in this shared journey, and I encourage you to regularly ask your children about what excites them in their learning each day.
To support this partnership, we have been hosting a series of parent workshops that introduced the International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP). We also offered sessions on the Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) assessments.

Thank you to the many parents who were able to attend these sessions. Recognizing, however, that there are many demands on personal dairies, we have made the slides available on Rhino Hub.
I do encourage all parents to review these, as they are designed to deepen understanding of how our ISHCMC learning program is structured and how each pathway supports the growth of every student.
Equally important to student development at ISHCMC is well-being, which we know is the foundation for meaningful learning. Our recent Introduction to Neurodiversity workshop provided valuable perspectives from our clinicians on how each brain learns differently, and how embracing these differences builds both confidence and achievement. To revisit this presentation, please go to our Rhino Hub.
In the weeks ahead, our faculty will continue to host workshops, including how parents can support learning at home and how to interpret MAP scores. Primary families will also take part in the Parent Teacher Connection Conferences, an important opportunity to meet with teachers, share perspectives, and strengthen the school and home partnership that underpins student success.
Thank you for your ongoing support as we continue to shape a learning environment where every child can thrive.
Warm regards,
