Noticing means to be aware of our thoughts, emotions and body sensations right here, right now. The biggest benefit of noticing is that it helps us learn to listen to ourselves which will also lead us to become better at honoring our needs.
Our bodies give us information about what we need. When our hearts are beating fast and our minds are cluttered, it’s our bodies' wise way to tell us to slow down. Mindfulness offers us that space to pause and notice what is happening in our minds and bodies.
By noticing what we are experiencing, Our brains feel instantly safer. Remember, We always have the answers to our needs, they are right here within us. Here you can find practices to work on noticing.
