This week, student leaders for all our CAS groups underwent safeguarding training by Will Hurtado, our Secondary Principal or Priya Mitchell, our Wellbeing & Safeguarding Architect.

The purpose of the safeguarding training is to support our Grade 11 and 12 students in preparation for the year ahead as they will be leading CAS groups with younger secondary students.

As these CAS group sessions are student led, safeguarding training is necessary to ensure that the older children are aware of any red flags they may come to light and then know what to do in such situations.

The sessions were designed to get students involved and were really well received with many insight questions being asked.
