Geverlyn is a professional pianist. Her journey began as a band member for live productions, eventually leading her to become a dedicated music teacher. When she is not teaching or performing, she’s cheering on her kids as a proud soccer mom. Her daily rhythm is powered by coffee, rice, and the serenity of her garden. She is super excited to start a new adventure here at ISHMC.

Wisdom Yayra Abutiate
Sir Wizzy is an engaging teacher from Ghana, West Africa, with a rich background in multicultural engagements and a deep understanding of music theory and harmony. Passionate about exploring global music, he brings a wealth of musical experience to ISHCMC and the MYP Music classroom Classically trained in the Suzuki Violin Method, he has also taught himself to play the piano, bass guitar, and ukulele. Wisdom is enthusiastic about vocal and instrumental music, harmony, and rearrangement. Together with his musician wife, he believes in music's universal power to unite people and strives to inspire students to embrace music as an integral part of their lives.
