Dear Parents,
With just one week remaining in the school year, our community continues to shine in all the ways that make ISHCMC so special. It has been a remarkable week across our campuses, alive with creativity, achievement, and celebration.
On Saturday evening, we celebrated the Graduation Ceremony of the Class of 2025 at the GEM Center. It was an inspiring and joyful occasion, filled with pride form the staff and families who honored the successful culmination the educational journey of our Grade 12 students. In the brief speech I made, I referenced the words of the poet William Ernest Henley in his stirring work Invictus: “I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soul.” Our newest alumni are well placed to step forward in life with this purpose in mind.

Throughout the week, that great spirit has carried across our school. Tuesday and Wednesday saw our Primary IPAA recitals fill the MPR with music, while Gaelic football brought energy and enthusiasm to the Secondary field.
On Wednesday, our MYP Student-Led Conferences gave students the chance to reflect on their growth and share their learning with maturity and purpose. Thursday evening’s Art Gala showcased the creativity and talent of our student artists, and today we celebrated our Grade 10s as they completed their MYP journey, a milestone worthy of recognition.

As we head into the final week, thank you for your ongoing support and engagement.
Wishing you and your family a peaceful weekend.
Kindest regards,
Marco Longmore
Head of School
