Paola Gonzalez
Paola began her teaching career with aspirations to inspire young learners to their fullest. She believes that children can and do communicate in 100 languages and is committed to honoring, understanding, and making space for every language. Paola has done extensive work around socio-emotional learning as a means to know each student from within as well as its importance in developing a strong sense of identity. She also places great intentionality in her interactions and teaching environment where she is committed to ensuring all her students are heard, respected, and feel safe.

Teaching in Ireland and abroad has given Niamh a wealth of experience, and she is excited to embark on this journey with ISHCMC this year. Niamh aims to create a classroom that is both fun and challenging. She is passionate about fostering meaningful relationships with her students, as she believes these connections are essential for creating a supportive learning environment. Building strong relationships helps Niamh understand each student's unique needs and strengths, ultimately enhancing their engagement and success in the classroom.

With international teaching experience across Japan, Vietnam, Abu Dhabi, and South Africa, Teighyn is passionate about creating engaging early years learning experiences that spark curiosity and celebrate every child's "lightbulb moments." She believes in fostering inquiry, play-based learning, and student agency to build strong foundations for lifelong learning. Outside the classroom, Teighyn enjoys exploring new places, trying new experiences, and spending time with animals.
