Dear Parents,
I am sure that like me you will be looking back on this immensely busy week and wonder where the holiday has gone!
As I write, I can see from the window all the fun and excitement of our Primary School as they enjoy field day. A great deal of effort went into the planning and organizing of this and it is wonderful to see the involvement of Secondary students in supporting the activities. Well done everyone, what fun.
An important milestone was reached for our Grade 10 students and families as we held our evening on future pathways and subject choices this Wednesday. It was wonderful to see the full involvement of families in the evening and the information being shared by staff and students about the many options available for the coming years at ISHCMC. The range of our pathways and the real sense of purpose for each that our students can both enjoy and be challenged with, shone through the evening.

Hearty congratulations goes out to our various sports teams this week who have been competing in city wide competition finals. Their successes are recorded elsewhere in this update. Behind the students is a dedicated team of coaches and so thanks must rightly go to their support as well.
I was also very pleased to be part of the planning meeting for the Grade 12 Graduation cohort as their final months at ISHCMC, rapidly draw to a close. The support of our parent body is key to this partnership to celebrate the Graduation of our leavers this year. There are many things to look forward to. Details of plans will be shared in the weeks ahead.
Finally, I draw your attention again to my Head of School Forum next Monday. I am delighted to be joined by colleagues who will give their own update on the many areas of significant progress being seen this year at ISHCMC. We promise to make the session informative and open to your questions. I look forward to seeing you there.
I wish you a restful and happy weekend.
Warm regards,
Marco Longmore
