Dear ISHCMC Community,

Thank you for taking part in this year’s Voice of Parent (VOP) Survey. The survey has now closed, and I am sincerely grateful for the time, care, and honesty you shared with us. I would like to share a few early insights from this year’s results, with the graphic below providing an overview of parent scores and comments from our families.

Our leadership team is now carefully reviewing all feedback to better understand your experiences. In response to your feedback, we invite you to a parent meeting on 21 May (details to be shared at a later date), where we will present key insights and outline our actions moving forward. We will also share the enhancements our campuses will undergo this summer, along with ISHCMC’s strategic vision and plan for Academic Year 2026–2027.

From your early indication of re-enrollment intention, 52% of families have confirmed their return for the upcoming academic year, providing us with an encouraging view of our community’s plans. I also shared that tuition fees will increase by 3% for Academic Year 2026–2027. The full fee schedule, including details by grade level, is available on our ISHCMC tuition fees page. We recognize that any adjustment is significant and have made this decision with careful consideration, balancing our commitment to keeping fees as manageable as possible while continuing to invest in our people, programs, and learning environment to support each child’s academic, social, and emotional growth.

Last week, it was wonderful to see both campuses come together to celebrate the final day of school for the Class of 2026. Thank you to all parents, family members, and staff who helped make it such a meaningful occasion. Seeing our students in their caps and gowns was a proud moment for our whole community, as we celebrated both their achievements and the young people they have become.

Next week, our community will observe Hung Kings Commemoration Day, Vietnam Reunification Day, and International Labor Day. It also marks the start of the official IBDP examinations for our Grade 12 students. We wish them every success as they begin this important final stage, and I look forward to celebrating their achievements at Graduation on 30 May.

Best wishes,

Marco Longmore
