Dear Parents,
It has been another eventful week at ISHCMC. A personal highlight was speaking with our Grade 11 students about their Theory of Knowledge (TOK) studies through the lens of History. It was an inspiring return to a subject close to my heart. I wish them well as they refine their skills for their TOK essay in Grade 12.

MAP testing for Grades 3-5 continues until 30 May, while our IB Diploma students completed their final exams on Wednesday, with undoubtedly a well-earned sigh of relief for them and their families!
Meanwhile, our Grade 5 students proudly showcased their learning through the PYP Exhibition, celebrating ‘How We Express Ourselves’. Their thoughtful artwork remains on display until 26 May.

On Thursday’s Professional Development Day, we honored staff members who have dedicated 5, 10, 20, and even 30 years to ISHCMC - an incredible testament to their commitment.

As the week wraps up, Middle School Sports Day brought students together for spirited competition. Our Grade 12s prepare for their Prom, a memorable milestone, while we proudly host the ISHCMC Swim Invitational 2025 this weekend, welcoming 19 schools and over 650 swimmers. Please come and support our Stingrays!
Wishing you and your family a restful weekend.
Kindest regards,
Marco Longmore
Head of School
