Dear Parents,
What a wonderful introduction to life in Vietnam this past week has been. I have been so pleased to see and be part of the many traditions surrounding the Tet New Year, here at ISHCMC. It's been a time of celebration, connection, and teamwork.
In addition to the celebrations seen, I wish to thank and applaud a number of teams and individuals:
A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Goldstein and the iSOS team for their tireless dedication during our health checks.
In the world of sports, our students shone brightly during the ASAC and MRISA and SISAC Championships! Congratulations to: Senior Boys Badminton: 3rd place; Senior Girls Badminton: 3rd place; Junior Girls Football: 3rd place; Junior Boys Football: 2nd place; Senior Girls Basketball: 2nd place; Senior Boys Basketball: 1st place; U19 Girls Basketball: 1st Place; U13 A Boys Team: 1st Place; U15 A Boys: 1st Place; U13 Table Tennis: 2nd Place; U15 Table Tennis: 2nd Place; U19 Girls Badminton: 3rd, U19 Boys Badminton - 6th Place; U19 Boys JV Basketball: 9th Overall - 1st in the JV Division. These achievements reflect not only the skill and determination of our athletes but also the hard work and dedication of their coaches. A special thank you to Mr. Prost and the athletics team for your guidance and support.
This week also marked a highlight for our Primary school community with the Three-Way Conferences. A big thank you to our Primary teachers and leadership team for making this such a meaningful experience for parents.
We were also privileged to welcome visitors from Cognita Global, including Mr. Frank Maassen (CEO), and the Cognita Regional Team. Their support, insights and engagement inspire us as we continue to grow and innovate.
Finally, as we prepare to welcome the Year of the Snake, I want to express my sincere gratitude to our Vietnamese, Korean, and Chinese staff, and students, for organizing vibrant and memorable Tet assemblies. Thank you to all involved.
