Dear ISHCMC Families,

On 16 September, I had the privilege of attending the annual conference hosted by the Department of Education and Training (DOET) to review the 2024 - 2025 Academic Year and outline the priorities for the year ahead.

At this event, ISHCMC was deeply honored to be recognized with the Certificate for Outstanding Achievement in the Management and Operation of Non-Public Educational Institutions for 2024 - 2025. This award affirms our collective commitment to aligning with Vietnam’s educational strategy while making a meaningful contribution to society.

The event included a delightful performance by our Grade 3 students. Their energy and joy set the tone for the day, reminding us of the creativity and spirit that thrive within our community. My heartfelt thanks to all the students, teachers, and parents who contributed to this memorable moment.

As the first IB school in Ho Chi Minh City, we take pride in being part of a pioneering journey that places our students at the center of an international education while respecting and embracing the culture of Vietnam. This recognition is a reminder that our vision - to empower learners to thrive as global citizens - remains firmly connected to the aspirations of the community we serve.

Looking ahead, October will be a busy and exciting month with the school photo sessions, numerous parent workshops, Rhino Family Fun Night, and more before the term break (13-17 October). Please check the Google Calendar on Rhino Hub to stay updated.

Thank you, as always, for your continued partnership and support.

Warm regards,

Marco Longmore
