Dear ISHCMC Community,

Dear ISHCMC Community,

Last week, it was a pleasure to come together to celebrate the Graduation Ceremony of the Class of 2026. It was a joyful and memorable occasion, marking both the culmination of our students’ journeys at ISHCMC and the beginning of an exciting new chapter ahead.

As I shared during the ceremony, I have tremendous belief in the next generation, and especially in our graduates. I am confident that they will not only go on to achieve great success, but also make a positive and lasting impact in the communities they become part of.

I am extremely proud of our students’ achievements, their growth of character, and the way they have contributed to our school community. I look forward to following their journeys and celebrating their future successes.

I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to everyone who helped make the Graduation Ceremony such a meaningful event. To our families, faculty, and staff, thank you for the care, encouragement, support, and belief you have given our graduates throughout their learning journey.

Last week also marked the end of our assessment period across the school. I am proud of the focus, perseverance, and commitment our students have demonstrated throughout the year, and especially during these final weeks. As we reflect on their growth and achievements, please take note of the upcoming report publication dates:

  • Grades 1–5 Reports Published: 8 June

  • Grades 6–11 Reports Published: 10 June

With just one week remaining in the academic year, our campuses are full of energy as we celebrate student learning and important milestones. I look forward to recognizing our students at the upcoming ceremonies:

Grade 10 Middle Years Programme (MYP) Completion Ceremony

Grade 5 Primary Years Programme (PYP) Completion Ceremony

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award (DofE) Ceremony

We recognize that the start time for the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Ceremony may be challenging for working parents, and we appreciate your efforts to join us. We also acknowledge that some families have another academic-related event later that evening. We regret this scheduling overlap and have already taken steps to strengthen our planning processes to help ensure similar conflicts do not occur in the future. Thank you for your understanding and support.

As we approach the end of Academic Year 2025–2026, I want to thank every member of our community for the commitment, care, and partnership you have brought to ISHCMC throughout the year. Together, we have supported our students as they continue to learn, grow, and thrive.

I wish you all a restful and joyful summer break, and I look forward to welcoming you back in August for another inspiring year of learning and growth.

Best wishes,

Marco Longmore
