We've had an extraordinary start to Term 2! Our ASAC Junior Basketball team returned triumphant from Bangkok, with the girls securing 1st place and the boys claiming 2nd. Congratulations to all! We also wish our ASAC Senior Volleyball team the best of luck as they head to Hanoi tomorrow.
We are pleased to share that we successfully conducted three drills last week: two lockdown drills across both campuses and one evacuation drill at the Secondary campus. Additionally, our support staff participated in firefighting refresh training to enhance our emergency response capabilities.
We're excited to host two impactful workshops for educators and mental health practitioners in our local community this week; Applied Suicide Intervention Training (ASIST) in collaboration with The ABC International School, Vietnam and Youth Resilience & Mental Health: Challenges & Solutions in partnership with RMIT University Vietnam. We are proud to be driving the conversation surrounding mental health in Vietnam. Learn more about how we nurture minds and make wellbeing a priority.
CIS Survey - Deadline tomorrow
As I am sure you are aware, tomorrow is the last day to complete our Council of International Schools (CIS) survey. The feedback provided on this survey is absolutely invaluable to our strategic decisions and plan to continuously improve and strive for excellence in international education.
Last year, thanks to your insights, we achieved significant achievements across the school:
Appointed a Middle and High School Dean of Students
Implemented the POSISH curriculum
Established a new customer service team
Enhanced school facilities
Introduced a new newsletter format and weekly events email
Increased professional development opportunities
Successfully completed re-accreditation cycles with CIS, NEASC, and IB
And many more!
