Primary Parent Teacher Connection Conferences: 18 September

Our first conference of the year, Parent Teacher Connection Conference (PTCC), will take place next Friday, 18 September 2026. This is an opportunity for parents/guardians to have an in-person conversation with their child's homeroom teacher.


Please see our protocol below.


Purpose

To build relationships and develop a deeper understanding of your child as a learner and as a person, both at school and home.


Who Attends

  • Parents/guardians

  • Homeroom teacher


Protocol

  • Connection: A warm, informal conversation focused on getting to know your child, your family and your experiences at home.

  • Sharing of Additional Information: You will be invited to share important insights about your child’s interests, personality, and experiences at home to help the teacher better understand and support them at school.

  • Teacher Sharing: The teacher will share a brief overview of your child’s:

    • Engagement

    • Social development and friendships

    • Approaches to learning

    • Early assessment data (KG - G5, where appropriate)


Parent/Guardian's Role

  • Share openly and honestly about your child and family

  • Provide any helpful background or insights

  • Ask questions and build a connection with the teacher


Sign-Up Schedule

To ensure a smooth process for all families, particularly those with multiple children, we ask that families honor our staggered approach. 


Please see below these dates:

  • Friday, 18 September: PTCC

  • Tuesday, 8 September: Registration Opens at 08:00 on SchoolsBuddy

  • Tuesday, 8 September: Families with 3 or more children may register

  • Thursday, 10 September: Families with 2 children my register

  • Friday, 11 September: Families with 1 child may register

  • Monday, 14 September: Registration Closes at 12:00


Conferences run all day from 07:20-16:35. Each family may sign up for a 15-minute slot for each child. 


Please note: There is NO SCHOOL for students on the day, and no campus supervision available on the day.


Registration on SchoolsBuddy


Please CONFIRM your selected times TWICE in SchoolsBuddy to complete your booking (e.g. Confirm the selection, then confirm the date). Once your registration is successful, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please return to SchoolsBuddy and try again.

Translation Support

If you need translation support in Japanese, Korean, or Vietnamese, please let your child’s Homeroom Teacher know. We will do our best to arrange a translator for your conference!
