Vietnamese Law recognizes a number of two wheeled vehicles which can legally be operated on the road.
It is important to note that in Vietnam, parents or legal guardians are legally responsible for ensuring that their dependents under 18 are operating vehicles according to Vietnamese law. We would also like to remind parents that most health insurance providers have a clause invalidating coverage for anyone operating a vehicle illegally.
ISHCMC Secondary allows students who are legally operating vehicles to park inside our campus in the areas marked ‘Student Parking’. Access to our campus is monitored by our security team and checked intermittently by local law enforcement.
Please see below for the types of vehicles allowed on campus, and legal regulations governing the use of each type. Currently, these include:
Electric Bicycles
Electric Motorbikes
Mopeds
Motorcycles
If you have any questions about the information below, you can contact our Health and safety manager, Vu Nguyen (vunguyen@ishcmc.edu.vn).
