Join our Primary Parent/Teacher 3-Way Conference

Our Primary 3-Way Conferences will take place on Tuesday, 20 January. This will be a non-school day for Primary Students, with students and families expected at campus only during their allocated conference times.

These conferences provide an opportunity for a meaningful and constructive conversation about learning between students, parents, and teachers, with the student leading the discussion. Assessment data for students from Kindergarten to Grade 5 will also be shared.

Secondary Health Checks Next Week

ISHCMC will conduct mid-year health checks for all secondary students from 19-23 January 2026 in the Multi-Purpose Room.

Detailed information has been shared with families via email. If you have any other questions or concerns, please contact: afifaimam@ishcmc.edu.vn.

Grade 10 Personal Project Fair and Celebration

The MYP Personal Project is a key academic milestone for Grade 10 students, representing the culmination of five years of learning in the IB Middle Years Programme through inquiry, action, and reflection.

All secondary students and families are strongly invited to attend the Personal Project Fair and Celebration on Wednesday, 21 January at 6:00 pm in the Secondary School Theater, followed by student exhibitions on the fifth floor.

For families in Grades 6 to 9, this event provides a clear picture of the academic rigor, independence, and skills students develop as they progress through the MYP.

Grade 11 University Information Night

The Grade 11 University Information Night is an important session designed to support students and families as they enter the senior years.

This session is a key requirement of the Grade 11 university preparation process and outlines the university application journey, along with the support ISHCMC provides to students throughout this stage.

Date: 22 January 2026

Time: 18:00 - 19:30

Venue: Secondary Theater

Air Pollution and School Mitigation Measures

In light of recent air quality concerns, we would like to reassure our community that ISHCMC has clear and well-established protocols in place to manage these conditions.

Our Air Quality Response Plan has been in place and actively implemented since 2022 to ensure our campuses remain safe and healthy learning environments. The most up-to-date policy is available on Rhino Hub.

Save the Date: Head of School Forum in February

We are pleased to share the date for our upcoming Head of School Forum with Mr. Marco Longmore. As the forum will take place soon after the Tet break, we encourage families to note this event in their calendars.

The forum provides an opportunity to hear directly from our Head of School and engage in discussion around our school’s direction and priorities. Further details, including joining information, will be shared closer to the date.

  • Primary Campus: 12:00 - 13:30 on 24 February, 2026

  • Secondary Campus: 18:00 - 19:30 on 24 February, 2026

Worcester College Summer Programme 2026 Webinar

In 2026, we enter the fourth year of our exclusive Summer Programme with Worcester College, offering students aged 15 and above the opportunity to study and live within the historic college at the University of Oxford.

The application deadline is 15 April 2026. Ahead of this, Worcester College will host informative webinars on 28 January at 11:00 GMT and 20:00 GMT, providing further details about the program.

Donations Needed for Tra Bong

Due to extreme cold weather in the mountainous region of Tra Bong, many children are unable to attend school because they do not have access to warm clothing. In 2025, our partners at Anh Chi Em supported the community by delivering over 1,700 warm jackets to children in Tra Bong.

This year, we are seeking donations of warm clothing to support 4,000 children and 2,500 elders, helping them stay safe and warm through the severe winter conditions.

For more information on how to donate, contact Colin Dixon, Founder of Anh Chi Em, at +84 947 762 033.
