Stingrays Update - October 2021

As we settle down to a routine and our coaches are working hard to find innovative ways to motivate and train our Stingrays, we look forward to this month with more online training sessions. Our goal this month is for our swimmers to set and maintain a good balance of fitness, self-care, academic learning, and have fun! For activities and ideas on maintaining wellbeing, the Global Be Well Day site that our school has created this year is an excellent source!

We ended September with our first social night of the season! Thank you swimmers for joining and answering some tough Kahoot! questions from Coach Tom. A big thank you to all the parents for contributing the baby Stingray pictures for Guess the Stingrays? game. We loved seeing and guessing the Stingrays.

Please note there will be no online training during October break (October 11- 15) and be on the lookout for more information as we plan for our next social night. Pssst: Halloween!!!!

If you would like to join our online training sessions, or if you have any questions, please send me an email, Please scroll down for our amazing lead coaches’ newsletters.

Primary Update

Coach Lucas, Primary Lead

Hello swimmers!

It’s wonderful to see many of you at the social night! It’s a great chance for swimmers from both campuses to gather and have some fun!

We finished week 3 of the online sessions (week 2 for Grade 3-5). It has been a great turnout with nearly 90 students signed up.

Coach Tom, Secondary Lead

Secondary Update

Hello Platinum swimmers and parents!

The weeks sure have flown by, despite the present situation and it has been so nice to see and talk to many of you in your classes. It was especially good to have 37 sign up for the team and have some new members at dry-land training on Fridays.
